HISTORY OF ANTIBIOTIC

 Antibiotic was produced by microbes that inhibit the growth of other microbes.The history begin when discovery of penicillin by Alexander Fleming on 1928. There are majority produced by bacteria, and inhibit the growth of other bacteria.

Alexander Fleming didn't clean up his workstation before going on vacation in 1928. When he came back, Fleming noticed a strange fungus on some of his cultures. Even stranger was that bacteria didn't seem to thrive near those cultures. The picture below show changes before and after condition.
